Letting Go Is Fun Safe and Easy

Loving you, Betty Lue

October 9, 2010

Have you cleared away the clutter and debris of the past? Have you let go of guilt, hurt and resentment? Are you free of memories of left over hurt, sorrow and fear? Are you ready to show up and be fully present in your life today?

When we are missing to what is no longer here, we will not receive the gift of now. When we are upset by what happened yesterday, we cannot fully embrace the joy of today. When we are holding grudges and defenses against others, we are unable to fully love them. When we are longing for a return of what used to be, we cannot see what this day offers.

When we believe the myth “Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.”, we do repeat it. When we recognize only with true forgiveness and forgetting can we fully begin anew, we do. When we are unwilling to return to our natural state of innocence and love, we mistrust Love. When we are willing to let go of the story of what happened yesterday, we fully experience today.

Life is a series of events repeating themselves over and over, until we fully forgive and heal. Life offers endless opportunities to begin again with trust, respect and full appreciation. Life gives us clues about how to erase and delete outdated data and defenses against the truth. Life is the place where we learn Love is an action of detachment.

Letting go must be practices to be efficient and effective. Letting go is not avoidance but rather natural release. Letting go is the opening for better things to come. Letting go is clearing the windows of our soul so we can see and be the Light we are.

Breathe fully and freely and notice how you release and let go. Clear you mind and observe what is here now, the colors and smells, the sounds we here. Enjoy what is before you without judging and comparing, competing and defeating. Be fully present with mindfulness and enjoyment.

Life is good when we stop seeking what is bad. Life is all right when we undo the habit of looking for mistakes. Life always works when we trust the changes that come forth. Life provides the perfect place and timing when we let go of needing it to be different than it is.

What would it take for you to let go and trust in the Goodness that already is? What could you do to undo your attachment, stuckness and clinging to what no longer works for you? What matters to you more than trusting and freeing yourself and others to live their purpose? What are you left to let go in order to be totally free and happy with your life?

Life is for giving. Life works more exquisitely than you can plan. Love is the power of trust and freedom. Love heals and reveals even great Goodness, Love and Beauty for all.

Loving you, Betty Lue
