Loving all, as we mature in wisdom, caring and responsibility. Betty Lue

December 4, 2014

Do you act responsibly? Do you take care of your home and bills? Do you care for your body and health? Do you treat your loved ones with respect?

Using inappropriate language is not mature. Taking advantage of others is not mature. Blaming, shaming and denigrating others is not mature. Doing harm to yourself and others is not mature.

Neglecting to apologize for mistakes is not mature. Forgetting please and thank you is not mature. Fighting and arguing to win is not mature. Taking advantage of others is not mature.

Lying, cheating and stealing is not mature. Neglecting your home, your health, your responsibilities in immature. Whining, demanding and threatening is immature. Talking to others like a willful child is not mature.

So what is mature? Do you want to be responsible? Do you trust, love and respect yourself? Do you live, love and give freedom and trust?

Are you able to manage your bills effectively? Do you clean and maintain your home with appreciation? Do you take time to actively appreciate your loved ones? Do you manage your emotions privately without dumping on others?

Do you still depend on you parents or friends for advice? Do you still seek others approval and agreement? Are you confident about how you look and behave? Are you content with your relationships and lifestyle?

Immature people are often lazy and irresponsible. Immature people assume others will take care of them. Immature people may want to stay dependent on others. Immature people may ignore their moral and ethical code.

If you are willing, it is time to grow up. If you are supporting an immature person, it is time for a wakeup call. People tend to stay dependent and immature because they are comfortable. Codependent people may keep others dependent to get someone to need them.

Consider setting yourself free from all dependency, except on the Highest Good.

Responsibilities for Adults (From Betty Lue)

Do you know how to think, speak and behave consciously? Do you know how to treat others with respect and kindness? Are you willing to learn to be responsible in all relationships? Do you know the difference between right and wrong?

Treat others as you want to be treated. Forgive everyone and everything, for all time, including yourself. Be courteous and helpful. Give your best, no matter what others do. Make no assumptions, and recognize you do not know. Keep your agreements and your promise to yourself and others. Take turns in your interactions and following procedures. Be fair in your decisions and choose what is good for all concerned. Eliminate all cruelty or destructive thoughts, words or behaviors.

Think of others as you want to be thought of. Stop judging, complaining and gossiping. Stop negatively thinking about yourself and others. Forgive and erase all thoughts and behaviors that are hurtful.

Speak to others as you want to be spoken to. Use “please” and “thank you”, even with children. Talk in a pleasant tone of voice to everyone. Stop demanding and expecting: respectfully request. Don’t pretend you know, when you don’t know.

Responsible Behaviors Eradicate addictive behavior and create healthy choices. Clean up after yourself, in your relationships and your home. Follow through on your plans, projects and promises. Clean your house and car, your mind and messages. Treat the environment and earth with conscious respect. Stop excessive spending and Save your money. Be respectful of the people and possessions in your life. No drunkenness or disorderly behavior. No swearing or name-calling. Never abuse unhealthy food, drink or drugs. Stop expecting others to do for you what you don’t do. Live with respectful words, kind thoughts and positive behavior in clean home.

Love always Love! Dare to care about you!! Then You can care for everyone, too.

Loving all, as we mature in wisdom, caring and responsibility. Betty Lue
