Communication Is Key!

Communication is expressing what brings us together. The English term 'Communication' has been evolved from Latin language. 'Communis and communicare' are two Latin words related to the word communication. Communis is noun word, which means common, communiality or sharing. Similarly, communicare is a verb, which means 'make something common'. Some scholars relate the term communication with an English word community. Community members have something common to each other. Communities are {supposed to be} formed with the tie of communication. It is the foundation of community. Hence, where there is no communication, there can't be a community.

What brings us together with others? What separates us from others? Do we communicate to find commonality or seek our differences? It is time we begin to understand the skill and use of our words.

Having a common language is essential to connect with one another. Having a common goal is essential to joining for our success. Having a common morality is essential to feel values and valuable. Having a common philosophy of life is essential to finding safety.

Lack of safety and ethics generates fear and defensiveness. Lack of listening and understanding creates a wall of separation. Lack of common humanity and caring causes feelings of isolation. When will we join once again in genuine trust with one another?

It is time to listen to our own words and teachings. What we think, say and do are always teaching others. When we are mindful about our words, we can join together. When we choose to find our commonality, we will realize our love.

I use my words with the intention of reminding us to Love. I write these reminders to remind myself to find a better way. I listen within to the Love I know within my heart. And I share what is written there for me to write to you.

There is no better way for me to communicate than this. I listen and follow what is trusting and freeing. I honor how I live with the Good I am given. What I receive from a place of loving is the best I know.

It is not mine to defend myself from harm. When I am truly loving, I am safe. When we together communicate with Love in us, we are safe. When we are safe, we are not harmed.

I am here to remember Love. I am here to be truly helpful. I am here to trust in the power of Love. I am here to always be loving to you.
